PAYDAR Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 8, 2026 | Legal Entity: Paydar Technologies, LLC (“Paydar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Paydar provides an AI-assisted platform designed to help athletes and their families discover NIL marketing opportunities, review contracts, communicate with companies, and manage payments (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use the Paydar mobile application, website, and related services. By accessing or using Paydar, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in three categories: (A) information you provide, (B) information collected automatically, and (C) information from third parties.
A. Information You Provide
— Account: name, email address, encrypted password, date of birth, account type (athlete, parent/guardian, business)
— Parent/Guardian info (for minors): name, email, consent confirmation, identity verification if required
— Profile details (sport, school, stats, social handles, preferences, photo)
— Messaging & Content: messages with brands/businesses, contracts/documents, deal responses, content for AI analysis
— Payments & Financial: processed via Stripe Inc.; Paydar doesn’t store full bank/card details, may receive payment/payout/verification results
— Support: emails, in-app support, feedback submitted
B. Information Collected Automatically
— Device & Technical: device type, OS, app version, IP, browser, device identifiers
— Usage: features accessed, time spent, interactions, clicks, timestamps
— Diagnostics/Analytics: crash logs, performance, errors
C. From Third Parties
— Stripe: payments, payouts, verification, fraud prevention
— Supabase: secure hosting/authentication/storage
— Anthropic (Claude): contract analysis, AI-generated insights, recommendations, messaging help; AI input processed per OpenAI policy, not used for model training
— Analytics: aggregated insights, performance; never full banking credentials/passwords
— Campaign location (geocoding).** When you enter a campaign location (such
as a U.S. ZIP code, city and state, or region) in the brand portal, we send
that location text to **OpenStreetMap Nominatim**, a third-party geocoding
service, to obtain map coordinates. Those coordinates help athletes see
relevant opportunities (for example on location-based discovery). Nominatim
is not operated by Paydar; its use is subject to OpenStreetMap’s terms and
practices. We use this processing to place and display deals on maps, not
for unrelated advertising.
— OpenStreetMap (Nominatim):** When brands submit campaign location text (for example a U.S. ZIP code, city and state, or region) in the brand portal, we send that text to **OpenStreetMap Nominatim**, a third-party geocoding service, to resolve **map coordinates** so athletes can discover nearby opportunities (for example on location-based features). Nominatim is not operated by Paydar; use is subject to OpenStreetMap’s terms and practices. We use this only to place and display deals on maps, not for unrelated advertising.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to: provide/operate Services; verify identity/eligibility; obtain parental consent as needed; facilitate deals; process payments/withdrawals; deliver AI-powered analysis/recommendations; improve functionality; monitor fraud/prevent abuse; communicate updates; respond to support; comply with legal requirements. We do NOT sell personal information.
3. AI Processing Transparency & Minors
AI Processing Transparency—Paydar uses artificial intelligence for contract review, risk identification, comparisons, and recommendations. Outputs are informational and not legal advice. Content you submit for AI analysis is processed by OpenAI; by uploading, you consent to processing. Our configs prevent API data from training OpenAI models.
Minors (Ages 13–17)—Users 13–17 require verified parental/guardian consent and oversight. Parent must approve, monitor, and control payments. Consent can be withdrawn any time. Account access subject to parental representations on signup.
Children Under 13 (COPPA)—Paydar does not knowingly collect information from under-13 users. If discovered, data/account will be deleted. Parents can contact contact@gopaydar.com for removal.
4. How We Share Information, Data Retention
Information is shared only with necessary service providers (Supabase, OpenAI, Stripe, analytics/cloud infrastructure) and only for operation—not for advertising or unrelated purposes. These partners must safeguard data. Legal/safety disclosures occur only as required; business transfers may transfer info if Paydar is acquired.
5. Your Rights, Security, & International Users
Retention: Data held as needed for services, compliance, and disputes—minimized and reviewed regularly; can be deleted on verified user/parental request. User Rights: Access/correct/delete data, withdraw parental consent, or opt out—email contact@gopaydar.com, subject to ID verification. California/other jurisdiction rights fully honored. Security: Paydar uses encryption in transit, secure DB, access controls, and authentication. International: Data may be processed in the U.S./other regions as legally required.
6. Third-Party Links, Policy Updates, Contact
External links (e.g., to Stripe or brand sites) are not covered by our policy. We notify users of major policy changes in-app, via email, and via updated “Last Updated” date; use = consent.
