Paydar Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 1, 2026 | Legal Entity: Paydar Technologies, LLC (“Paydar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Paydar platform (mobile, web, or related services), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.
Paydar is a digital marketplace that enables college athletes and local businesses to discover, manage, and execute Name, Image, and Likeness (“NIL”) opportunities through AI-powered tools, messaging, contract analysis, and payment processing. All negotiations and fulfillment occur exclusively between athletes and businesses — Paydar is not a party to these agreements.

1. Eligibility & Parental Consent
You must be at least 13 years old to use Paydar. Users aged 13–17 must have verified parental consent, with parents overseeing account and contract activity. Children under 13 are not allowed. Paydar relies on user-reported compliance.
2. Description of Services & Platform Role: Paydar is a self-service technology platform for NIL deals—providing AI tools and secure payments, but not serving as a law firm, agent, broker, or contracting party. All contracts occur directly between users. Using Paydar does not create a legal agency or attorney-client relationship.
3. Deal Funding & Platform Fees (Summary): Each deal must be pre-funded by businesses via Stripe before posting and funds are held until deliverables are approved or disputes resolved. Paydar charges a 15% fee on funded deals, deducted before athletes receive net compensation. Refunds are generally available only before deal acceptance, limited or unavailable after.
4. Payments, Stripe Integration
All Paydar payments are securely processed by Stripe Connect. Using Paydar requires you to agree to Stripe’s terms, including submitting identity verification information. Paydar does not access or store your full bank or card details. Please ensure that your compliance information is up-to-date to prevent payout delays.
5. Subscriptions
Paydar subscriptions renew automatically via the App Store or Stripe, depending on how you subscribed. You can cancel at any time and your service will remain active until the next billing cycle. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where mandated by law.
6. Athlete Performance Score (APS) & User Conduct
The Athlete Performance Score (APS) reflects factors like completion, punctuality, and reliability. Businesses also have reliability scores. Messaging is intended solely for deal-related communications. Abuse or attempts to bypass payment protections may result in loss of access or forfeiture of funds.
